Hey! I am Paula. I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, and I enjoy teaching my language. I have a lot of hobbies, one of them is reading and climbing. I also enjoy traveling and metting new people, which involves also learning from different cultures :). I am currently doing my master's degree in Spanish as a foreign language, but I am already giving one-to-one classes here in Colombia.Me as a Teacher
I am a well organised teacher with more than 2 years of experience teaching different languages (including Spanish). I am energetic and I try to always bring innovative activities and subjects to the classes so that they are not repetitive. For me, it is important to keep my attention on my student's learning process and to help them improve their weaknesses. I implement real material, videos, lectures, and Spanish learning books.My lessons & teaching style
I focus classes on your necessities and goals, and I also include cultural aspects of the different Spanish speaking countries. I try to integrate all skills in all lessons, but I may sometimes focus on one if further practice is needed. I mainly use the communicative and task-based approach, but I also integrate other approaches.My teaching material

(This review is in English for any beginning Spanish Students looking for a teacher.)
I’ve taken many lessons on italki, and I think Paula is the best teacher I have ever studied with. She has an excellent understanding of the language and explains difficult concepts in a way that is quite easy to follow and understand. She is also incredibly good at seeing your strengths and weaknesses and always has great exercises to work on what you’re lacking in while keeping up your ability in everything else. Most importantly, she cares about her students and really wants you to excel in your learning. If it weren’t for Paula, I don’t think my level of Spanish would be where it is today. So, don’t search anymore! You’ve found your teacher!
