9th/12th Grade Teacher Wellesley High SchoolThis job gave me direct experience preparing and instructing lessons in a group class format to ages 14-17. I learned a ton about how to effectively format lessons to students who are struggling with acquiring new content and differentiating lesson structure to meet the needs of a wide variety of levels.

At-Home Tutor Self-EmployedI have worked as an at-home one-on-one tutor for the past three years where I help students who are struggling with their classes, or are homeschooled, or need help preparing for an upcoming standardized exam. This experience has taught me a lot about how to meet students at their specific needs and tailor lessons based on what students find most difficult and what students could use the best practice on. It also has given me practice on how to properly pace for and assess student understanding.

Trevor is the best english teacher I’ve ever met. He’s really patient and considerate. He prepares carefully, listened to you mindfully and takes notes thoroughly for the class. I really appreciate what he does.
