Hello! My name is Ever; I'm a recent master's graduate in international relations and an aspiring PhD candidate from Antwerp, Belgium. Dutch (Flemish) is my native language, and I speak English and French fluently. My interest in international relations has always sparked a language-learning motivation in me. As building bridges between communities is best done by acquiring each other's language, I'm passionate about learning foreign languages, as well as sharing my native Flemish with others. As I am currently living in Japan and learning Japanese, I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, but I also know how a few smart steps in the right direction can give you immense growth. As I'm passionate about language learning and teaching, I would love to share my experience with you by helping you learn my beautiful native language. I want to create a comfortable learning environment that stimulates student's abilities to speak openly and freely without the fear of making mistakes. As I personally experienced that language learning can go very fast once you set aside this fear, I want to do everything possible to help my students achieve this as well. I therefore encourage my students to ask me any question they want, including about the modalities of the lesson. I'm very flexible to adapt to the student's learning style. However, I will also not shy away from giving my own point of view when I think it can help in the learning process.
