I've been learning with Mohammed on and off for five years, and he is without a doubt the best teacher I have ever had. His patience and expertise are exceptional, and he has a real talent for making learning Arabic feel accessible. I started with him barely able to speak, and now I can speak almost fluently. Whenever I've had to take a break from my studies, he has always made it easy to jump right back in. I am completely confident that any student who is consistent with him will learn Arabic. He provides the structure and motivation you need to succeed. I can't recommend him highly enough if you're looking for a teacher who will genuinely guide you to fluency.

My goal with Arabic was to be able to communicate in it. In my previous experience, the focus was mostly on reading and understanding, so while a lot of vocabulary was covered, it was all passive knowledge and I could barely say a three word sentence. Now, after a month of classes with Mohammed, I can say much more, I can understand much better spoken Arabic and, most importantly, I feel that there is progress with every class. Mohammed is incredibly knowledgeable as a teacher, he is punctual, always prepared, always supportive and patient with my very slow reading and mistakes and with my sometimes pathetic attempts to say something more complicated than a basic sentence:) I think this kind of expertise comes only with practice, many students and many classes and years of teaching, but it is also a pedagogical gift that some people are blessed with and some not. I am looking forward to many more classes since my goal is to become fluent in MSA and then to learn the Egyptian dialect.
