Etsuko

I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Etsuko-san! She was enthusiastic, and asked great questions to provide specific sentences and phrases to study. I'm looking forward to future lessons!

The lesson was a mix of conversation and reading an article. Etsuko was patient and helpful, repeated anything I didn’t understand, and answered all of my questions. She also followed up the lesson by sending me some examples of an expression I was unfamiliar with.

My first lesson with Etsuko-sensei exceeded my expectations. Prior to our first lesson, we discussed my motivations, overall goals, and grammar areas where I really wanted to improve over the message board both in Japanese and English. Her messages were thorough with a very fast response time! During the lesson, Etsuko-sensei was incredibly supportive, patient and kind, and she immediately included the material content I requested. I just booked a lesson package with her, and can’t wait to see my improvement overtime with this awesome teacher!

Etsuko is a wonderful teacher. Focused, clear, well organized, student-centered so that one gets exactly the immersion level and material one needs. I would highly recommend Etsuko to anyone interested in learning and becoming conversant in Japanese.

今日もレッスンがすごく楽しかったです！今回、Etsuko先生とクリスマスの予定、新年の目標、日本の恋愛番組、などについて話しました。特に楽しかったのは、先生と『ラブ上等』という最近公開された恋愛番組について話したことです💘 好きな女性メンバーや男性メンバーについて楽しく会話できました。次に会う時、JLPTのために一緒に準備したいと思います。メリークリスマス、Etsuko先生！！🎶
