Laura

Laura is the best teacher ever! She is so good at explaining challenging gramatical concepts and incorporating them into conversation practice. I have learned so much from her. In addition, she is friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone working on their Spanish.

I am so glad to have found Laura on iTalki. Her teaching methods are super effective both in class as well as the materials and homework she selects. She is so kind and patient and I immediately felt comfortable speaking with her. I look forward to continuing learning with her!

I am about 8 lessons or so in with Laura as a beginner. I am nervous about being bad at things and I am bad at Spanish. Laura has done a good job at helping me move forward. I am starting to feel more comfortable with being uncomfortable if that makes sense. She is kind and has a way with me that is calming and encouraging. I still do not have high hopes for my language learning, but I am sure that Laura has greater hopes for me.

I’ve had several teachers on italki who have all taught me something in learning Spanish. But that being said, with Laura, I’m learning at an even faster pace, especially in speaking the language as a whole. And that’s ultimately what it’s all about. You can receive theory and do exercises, but ultimately, you need to be able to apply it at a conversational level. Laura strikes a great balance between explaining theory and then putting it into practice, which really helps you learn and improve speaking faster and better. Additionally, Laura is just a fantastic and lovely person. I can only recommend her.
