Hugo is an excellent Spanish instructor, and I'd recommend him to other students without reservation. As someone who has studied Spanish for some years, my primary goal has been to become more confident when speaking and to feel at ease discussing a range of topics — from the mundane to the profound. Working with Hugo has certainly helped me progress toward realizing this goal; I am confident that Spanish learners of all levels would benefit from his expertise and the comfortable, congenial learning environment he creates.

Hugo is easy to talk to, speaks very clearly and used Spanish appropriate to my level. He also had a useful summary of verb usage to hand immediately which was very helpful. My level is elementary/ intermediate and I am not secure with grammar. Hugo understood this immediately and was very supportive.
