Let's get to know each other! Hello! I'm Joe and I'm from Manchester UK. I recently came back to the UK after living in Cali, Colombia for 1 year. I have been working in human resources for around 10 years. My interests include cooking, eating out in restaurants, music, culture, sports and I love animals! I am very patient and I will always listen closely to what you are saying so I can provide corrections on any errors. I love laughing and having fun in my lessons and they are very informal so I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and try not to make it feel like a lesson and more like you are just having a chat with your friend :) I will also be using language and idioms in my lessons that natives generally use daily so you pick up on them (Hopefully without even realising!) However, if there is anything that you don't understand then please ask! Don't be afraid to make mistakes! Mistakes are so important when learning a language and I will always correct you. My teaching style is student centered so I will be looking to work with you and looking at any difficulties that you have been having with the language and resolving them directly. I'd love to learn about you in our lessons, I prefer to talk about things you are interested in as I feel this will greatly aid your learning, to speak about things you are passionate about. My lessons will mainly be conversation practice but if there is something specific that you would like to work on then please let me know.
