I'm Leia from California. I've been teaching English as a foreign language for more than 10 years now. Helping people reach more opportunities is what I love about it.
I instruct children and adults getting ready to settle in or traveling to English speaking countries. I also help those preparing for English exams and wanting connect to other English speakers whether for work or for personal relationships. All countries and personalities are welcome.
The levels of English I teach are elementary ( A1 / A2), intermediate ( B1 / B2) , advanced (C1) , and business.Me as a Teacher
I will always speak clearly and correct everything.
My focus is on effective communication and your development.
Together we'll center on the following: pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and reading.My lessons & teaching style
The way to make progress is continuous engagement. It's the way you learned your first language with your mom before you ever went to school. As you speak I'll correct your pronunciation to sound more natural and better understood. You'll read and use your critical thinking skills. As you're introduced to new vocabulary and expressions I'll write them down. Grammar is necessary, but I'll explain it easily with formulas and examples and ask you express yourself in return.My teaching material

My 8-yo child enjoyed a lot the class! Leia speaks loud and clear, and make it easy to understand. During the class they practiced vocabulary, grammar, use of english and played some games! My child felt confortable and wanted to repeat... Highly recommended!
