I’ve always found the writing lessons and brainstorming sessions with her incredibly helpful, and it clearly paid off. Alyssa is very resourceful and patient. There were times when I struggled with particular arguments or lines of thought, but Alyssa was very supportive and made me feel comfortable taking the time to reconstruct my thoughts, which has allowed me to improve my critical thinking skills during our time working together. Alyssa is a teacher who truly cares about the lessons. When class starts, she always has games to play and options to choose from. I really enjoy it because it helps me develop my skills in different situations. She also corrects my mistakes when I speak, which is really helpful because I can review and learn from them later.
