CELTA-qualified English teacher & theatre director I live on the south coast of England, where I teach English and work as a theatre director. I love cooking, running by the sea, and reading. I speak French and Greek, and over the years I have explored many languages, including Italian, German, Japanese, and Mandarin -- so I understand the long, sometimes surprising journey of learning a language. That experience shapes everything I do as a teacher. If you are an intermediate or advanced student with an interest in literature, I also offer lessons on Shakespeare and modern theatre. I am enthusiastic, patient, and encouraging -- but my warmth is backed by rigorous knowledge of the language.
