Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a French teacher from Lyon, in France. I am living in Istanbul, Turkey, where I have been teaching French to University students and adults for 13 years. I hold a master's degrees in teaching French as a Foreign language as well as a Master's degrees in International relations. I was previously working in that field. I love learning new languages and getting to know new countries and cultures. I've learned English, Spanish, German, Italian and Polish in a classic way during my studies and I learned Turkish while living in Turkey, by listening and speaking with people. Now I really want to share with you my passion for languages and help you with French!Me as a Teacher
My goal is to bring out the best in you to improve your French in the way you need!
My lessons are well structured but I really do adapt myself to your goals. I can for instance explain you French grammar and make you practice it by using structures in speaking (fun) activities. We can also work on vocabulary or pronunciation. I can assign you writing tasks.
For general conversation practice, I like to send you first a video or a text with questions and then have a conversation on the topic. All topics are possible, just let me know!
I have been a DELF-DALF and TCF-TEF examiner for many years so I can help you prepare these exams or others (FIDE, US department of State exam, UN pr.).My lessons & teaching style

With me, you'll practice your French as much as possible in order to gain self-confidence and fluency.
Every time you speak, I'm listening carefully, I write down your mistakes and correct them on my sheet (without showing my screen too much, I don't want to interrupt your thoughts ;-)) and I'll give you a feedback.
