Living in Other, United Kingdom

Northerner Spaniard from Cantabria living in England What do I do while I'm not working? Reading, writing, studying for fun, crocheting, sewing, hiking, and visiting new places. Where have I been? Spain, Poland, Portugal, England (currently living here), Wales, Scotland, Greece, and France (I lived in Montpellier for 6 months). If you need to know something else, just send me a message! (: At the moment I am not interested in making exchanges, I'm here to work! Academic Background: A-level: Latin, Greek, French, English, Spanish Language, and Literature. University: BA in History (specialized in Applied History). After being PR of AEGEE Santander I found my vocation in teaching my language, so I decided to take a course to certify myself as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language. I am a translator English-Spanish. I also work as a Spanish proofreader for a Spanish publisher. I am an author, I published my first short novel on December 2022. Before starting the classes I like to get to know the student a little, I need to know their objectives, their motivations, their learning style, and their preferences. This allows me to create personalized lessons and make learning more fun. I can give books on pdf, and other materials for the lessons. During the lesson, I'll let you know if you make a mistake to help you improve and gain confidence. After the lesson, you can have some homework if you like that will need to be sent back to me at least 24 hours in advance, to give me enough time to check it before the lesson.

Irene is very supportive. She always prepares interesting lessons. I choose the topic and she comes up with the material. It's really helpful for me to learn this way because I can choose something that I know I'm not doing well at

Gracias por la clase de hoy Irene. Sé que mis habilidades para hablar todavía no son las mejores, pero la clase me hizo sentir con mucha energía para empezar la semana. La conversación estuvo muy entretenida.
