Hi! I’m Alex. I live in Ireland but was born and raised in Latvia. Since childhood, I’ve spoken Latvian, Russian, and English, but it wasn’t until 2016, when I first visited Japan, that I became fascinated by the country and its language. That passion set me on a path devoted to learning and teaching languages. Having built a successful career in hospitality, retail, and education, I now use my experience to help students achieve their dreams.

Me as a Teacher
Two things set me apart: I’m frank and honest. As your teacher, I won’t tell you that learning a language is easy—it isn’t. We’ll face storms along the way. But I’ll be your second-in-command, guiding you and helping you chart the best course toward your destination. I’ll give you the tools to weather the roughest seas, lift you when you stumble, and help you stay the course until the light of your goal appears on the horizon.
