Hi! I’m Sveta, a native Russian teacher and a content creator from Moscow 👋
I run a channel with lots of fun, useful comprehensible input to help you keep improving between lessons.
Fun fact: Russian is the only language I learned fully naturally. First I understood it, then spoke it, and only much later realized grammar exists 😄
That’s why it’s the only language I speak 100% intuitively, and that’s exactly what I want for your Russian too.
I teach through acquisition, using comprehensible input (CI) inspired by ALG. No grammar, no stress.
Beginners:
In our first lesson, I can speak English, Spanish, or Italian to discuss your goals and explain my method. After that, we’ll start using cross-talk, a stress-free and very effective method where you can speak a language I understand (English, Spanish, Italian, German, or Malayalam) while I speak Russian. You’ll start understanding from day one.
Intermediate and advanced:
We focus on natural conversation to help you sound more fluent and confident.
Lessons can be recorded on request.

My favourite italki lesson ever (and I have had many lessons over the past few months for four different languages)! Svetlana is a genuine polyglot, and her experience of learning languages is very useful if you're a language learner yourself. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone learning Russian!
