Hi, I'm Helen. I was born and grew up in the UK and speak English as my native language. I live in Scotland, and I have a Scottish accent. I'm a qualified proofreader and copy-editor, so I can help with any problems you might have with grammar, spelling or using words correctly and am happy to check anything you write.Me as a Teacher
I can relate to the practical, everyday challenges of using a foreign language, since I studied Russian at University and spent a year living in Russia, where I first started teaching English. I'm also interested in history and literature, and enjoy the opportunity to explore language and culture with my students.My lessons & teaching style
I welcome students of any level and adjust my lessons individually to fit what you need and enjoy. We can practice general informal conversation, grammar and pronunciation or focus in detail on English for travel, business, exams or any other priority you might have. We can use a textbook of your choice and I can provide multimedia materials to make your learning more fun and effective. (Please note that I only accept students over the age of 12.)5.0
