As a teacher I understand the uniqueness of every students and aim of learning this beautiful language. I believe I can create a positive relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable and not afraid of asking questions or making mistakes. Since making mistakes is an essential part of learning and improving. My lessons & teaching style
I believe learning, especially language learning should be engaging and fun, and and most importantly relevant to your goal. I do not believe in traditional teaching method, you do not need to memorise 20 different animal names or vegetables but should be able to order food in a restaurant or ask the direction as a beginner student. How many of us have learnt foreign language at school for years and how many of us can speak the language fluently... Yes, there is a problem in the traditional teaching method, or too much grammar5.0

Zaya is a great teacher. She’s very understanding, she’ll go over notes and always make sure I understand before moving on. Repeating material so I can improve and memorize the language better.

If you only want to see Mongolia, traveling is enough. But if you want to truly engage with its culture, feel the spirit of its people, and understand the stories behind its food and traditions, I recommend learning Mongolian.
From my experience, knowing Russian, Japanese, or Korean helps in understanding Mongolian grammar and word order. Still, the language itself is unique and rewarding to learn.
Zaya is an excellent teacher I highly recommend. She is professional, responsible, and precise, yet also warm and approachable. Her teaching style encourages questions, and she gives immediate corrections. She observes your progress closely and adjusts lessons thoughtfully. If she weren’t a teacher, she could be a detective for her attention to detail.
After just one month, I cannot yet hold long conversations, but I can already read letters, numbers, and useful phrases. This progress has given me confidence for my trip.
Thank you, Zaya—you are truly Mongolia’s pride.
