Me as a Teacher

I'm a qualified English teacher from England. I taught English in a classroom for one year and have been doing private lessons for many years. I have a CELTA qualification and a 1st Class Honours degree in Linguistics & Phonetics from Leeds University. I have specialist knowledge in teaching English pronunciation from studying phonetics and phonology as part of my degree. I have 10 years of experience helping English learners improve their pronunciation. También hablo español. Lo aprendi cuando viví en Madrid durante un año. En Madrid trabajé como profesora de inglés así que entiendo bien los errores típicos de los alumnos españoles.

I do not currently offer live video lessons on iTalki. I offer an assessment of your English pronunciation, from a recording. I'll give you a detailed report that explains where you can improve your pronunciation. I got the question yesterday, and I got the corrections of it today, and I understand the point of these lessons. But to be honest, with such short answers, there is not such a big room for improvement of writing skills. Plus, this type of corrections can be done now by ChatGPT, even with more explanation.
