Abel

Abel is a smart and kind teacher. He is easy to talk to and to understand. Sometimes we discuss certain grammar rules that I struggle with, but usually we discuss certain society related topics, which make the lessons interesting but also helps me a lot with my vocabulary! Thanks again Abel!

One of the benefits of this service is the ability to have a cultural exchange as well as a language lesson. Today, while talking with Abel he educated me on Venezuelan politics while keeping the mood light. He is very intelligent and can maintain an interesting conversation. So, I do recommend him to anyone looking to improve their conversational Spanish. He also speaks English quite well, so if you are purely a beginner you could benefit as well.

Abel is a great teacher. He answers all of my questions thoroughly, and my spoken Spanish has gotten so much better since I've been meeting with him. All with a sense of humor!

During every lesson we’ve had Abel has consistently brought engaging and challenging material to discuss in Spanish. Crucially, Abel has given me the freedom to talk about a topic whilst noting any errors I make to share at an appropriate time I.e. I’m not interrupted ever 2 seconds which allows an authentic, flowing conversation. Each lesson has been tailored to my needs and I feel I have improved greatly since taking our lessons regularly.

Abel is an excellent instructor in Spanish. His style is both laidback and engaging. He gives you his total attention and provides gentle correction during the session as if you were learning Spanish from a friend. Not only is he organized, he also presents lesson materials tailored to my current level of Spanish. I like this approach because it reinforces my learning of grammar concepts essential for fluent communication. I look forward to our lessons. I have had some good teachers on iTalki. Abel, by far, is the best.

Had a great conversation with Abel. I was able to speak freely at my own pace. Abel did a great job at explaining my mistakes and how to correct them. I felt this was great practice and a fun way to improve my Spanish!
