Hello there! My name is Mick. Thank you for checking out my profile. If you're considering learning or already learning Mandarin Chinese, and you want to find a native speaker to help you learn and brush up, then I may be the person you're looking for. I majored in English in university, and I've been using English for jobs ever since, so I can speak English fluently. I'm easy-going, detail-oriented and patient. I'm experienced as a Mandarin Chinese tutor as I started tutoring on italki back in 2011, and I know what aspects of Mandarin Chinese learners may struggle. I have the experience of tutoring HSK tests, and teaching standard Mandarin Chinese textbooks. My lessons & teaching style
• Mandarin Speech Sounds and Tones class is mainly for Mandarin Chinese beginners. Mandarin Chinese is a tonal language, so the class is all about Mandarin Chinese tones practice and correction.
• We can do role-playing and topic talk in Spoken Chinese session to practice your conversational skills. Talk about whatever that interests you in Chinese, Chinese culture, history, etc.
• Chinese Reading and Writing is for upper intermediate to advanced level learners. We can focus on vocabulary learning and sentence structure in reading and writing session.
• Or I can simply customize the lesson whatever suits your way of learning the best.My teaching material
