When I am learning a language I am always a bit shy to speak. But with Glawdys I feel more comfortable with speaking because she is calm and encouraging. She has good energy and isn’t too harsh or strict when she corrects me which is important to me. I can talk more not because I am forced to but because she guides naturally.

Glawdys is the best French teacher! She really helped me go from knowing absolutely nothing to being able to understand and speak basic phrases in only a few months. I really appreciate her structured class format supplemented with textbook lessons, listening exercises, and homework. She is very attentive and caring, and she is flexible if you need to focus on one specific area or issue. I look forward to continuing with her in the future!

Best conversation class ever! Like all learners, I tend to be very self-conscious when I speak French. We generally follow an agreed upon topic, (in which she provides discussion questions that guide the conversation), but her encouragement/support make the conversation both natural and effortless.

I highly recommend Glawdys for any adult wishing to learn or advance their French. Of course Glawdys is very knowledgeable about French and a gifted teacher. But beyond this, she excels at creating a safe and comfortable environment to learn, trip, make mistakes, and feel supported throughout. She is, without fail, encouraging, kind, thoughtful and helpful.

The lessons with Gladwys are very lively. I learn to talk about important subjects, learn new vocabulary and become much more confident in speaking. Gladwys has a very natural and supportive teaching style. I am glad I found her and glad what I learned from her and how my French has improved.
