After living quite long in Spain, I'm still a typical 'Kaaskop'. The perfect cheese head to show Dutch and the culture. And guess what, I’m not just helping people with passing their integration & NT2 exams, I also help people after living for many years in The Netherlands to get their Dutch perfect. I’m a translator as well, so know every little grammatical mistake. In addition, I’m teaching in front of groups (6-10 persons), courses for a specific amount of time. But I honestly enjoy the private lessons more, because I see earlier progress and you get to know each other better!My lessons & teaching style
There are 2 things we can do, for the structured lessons follow a book combined with extra materials. Or go with the flow and completely adapt to your needs. Completely beginner or expert? I have materials and lessons for everyone. Separable verbs, past tense, the word 'er' or conversational lessons, we can do it all. Having problems with specific topics? to be honest, i did not like my trial lesson. First of all, i contacted her months ago and never got a reply, then i booked the trial lesson and she forgot at what time it was and asked me to postpone without checking the time zone i live in. She showed some useful material but i didn't like the passive aggressive judgement from not having covered certain topics with my previous teacher. On top of that, i really had the impression she didn't want to be there, she is knowlegeable but professionalism is another thing.
