Hi, My name is Mariluz and I am from Spain. I am currently living in Andalusia, in the south of Spain and I have been living and working in Ireland, Russia and Germany. One of my biggest passions are languages, I really like learning them and the sense of achievement when you get to communicate with others in their languages, that is why I studied four and I am thinking about learning another one.
I also like to travel and learning about different cultures and ways of living.Me as a Teacher
I work as an Spanish and English teacher with more than 20 years experience. I have a BA in Translation and Interpreting (specialization: English and French). I started teaching a long time ago when I was at the University giving private lessons to younger students. Later, I got a Degree in Training and developing specialist (teacher for Adults) and started working as a language teacher for unemployed adults giving different short term courses. My private face to face lessons have been a part of my routine for many years and I started providing online lessons in 2009.
Right now I am specializing in Spanish Pronunciation and Phonetics.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are based on communication, I teach all the aspects of the language (grammar, vocabulary, etc) through everyday conversations or real situations. But I also use readings and exercises when needed.
I like my students to talk a lot and online teaching is a marvellous tool for that, since we have privacy and there is no need to be ashamed. I will let you express yourself and will not interrupt with corrections, we will talk about them later.
I try to create a safe and relaxed place in my lessons so that students can be themselves and express freely.My teaching material
