Friendly instructor dedicated to making learning natural, enjoyable, and effective! My favorite topics are culture, movies, sports, travel, video games, and technology. I love visiting art museums, so if you enjoy drawing or creating art, I’d love to see your work and hear about your inspiration! I also love athletics and played football and basketball and ran track through high school and into college. Professionally, I work in IT as a Product Director, so I’m always interested in discussing new and emerging technology. I also love traveling and recently visited China. My teaching experience began through a university program working with international students. I’ve taught English at different levels, from children just beginning to learn to tutoring native speakers in college. So, no matter your English level, don’t worry—we all have to start somewhere! My teaching style is flexible and depends on your goals. We can have casual conversations, prepare for a test, or focus on specific areas you want to improve. Even during casual conversations, I’ll actively listen and provide helpful feedback. I also love reading novels and articles with students. We can choose something that matches your level and work through it together at your own pace. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can build confidence, improve your English, and enjoy the process! P.S. I also created a daily English word puzzle called Word Golf by East Lumenz. You can find it with a quick Google search, and if you try it, I’d love to hear what you think!
