Hello! My name is Matthew (You can call me "Matt" if you like !) and I'm from Ireland!
I am passionate about languages, different cultures and helping people to learn!
I'm currently studying Japanese and I would like to some day incorporate that into my work life whether through working in translation or any other means.
I'm interested in things like Art, Music, Geography, Travel, Video games and many more things :)

I am TEFL qualified through The TEFL Institute of Ireland and extremely passionate about languages and helping people learn! I am very familiar with the process of acquiring language from the perspective of a learner as I have personally been studying Japanese for a few years.
I also have a lot of amateur experience in conversation practice with learners of all levels of ability, particularly with Japanese students.My lessons & teaching style

I prefer to focus on helping people build confidence and fluency in their speaking ability, with an emphasis on casual conversation.
Although I am more than happy to help people of all levels of ability to practice with other specific goals in mind, whether it's for travel, connecting with family or understanding your favourite shows, movies or songs!

120Hr TEFL Certificate - TEFL Institute of Ireland - 2022I participated in an online course with other people seeking the qualification.
We took tests for our English proficiency and learned how to best help people learning English with respect to their specific goals, we also took place in mock classroom/ online classroom practice situations.
