She organized a lesson for my needs with what I wrote and I learn exactly what I need to speak in Mandarin in the situations I use to find myself in China and feel lost, I think it is only a matter of time to travel and feel confident speaking instead of using translators if I study with this teacher. She is also kind and understanding. I recommend a try in learning with her.

I’ve been searching for years and Alice is one of the very few who teaches Teochew dialect. As a language learner and also a language tutor myself, I really appreciate how Alice is a dedicated and professional teacher. Her instructions are clear, methodical, easy-to-follow. I really enjoy my Mandarin lessons with Alice! She is a very friendly, patient and competent teacher who explains everything clearly and provides helpful examples. The lessons are always interactive, and she encourages questions and active participation. She also notices when I struggle with something and takes the time to explain it in different ways. I appreciate that we start each lesson with a review of what we learned previously and finish with a short recap of the new material. Everything is very well structured, and I genuinely enjoy every lesson. The time always flies by! I am very happy to have Alice as my teacher and look forward to continuing our lessons together.
