I love class with Alice! She is so encouraging. I never feel rushed, and I feel like I am making progress with each and every class. When I have trouble with pronunciation, she always finds a way to help me remember how to say things correctly. By the end of class, the words that were a struggle at the beginning feel roll right off the tongue. I highly recommend Alice, she puts so much energy into her teaching and always has recommendations for listening materials I can use outside of class.

I’ve been searching for years and Alice is one of the very few who teaches Teochew dialect. As a language learner and also a language tutor myself, I really appreciate how Alice is a dedicated and professional teacher. Her instructions are clear, methodical, easy-to-follow. I've had a few classes now and would not hesitate to recommend Alice. Her class is always structured, methodical and interesting. I also appreciate her patience, encouraging words and positive energy. Teochew is a difficult Chinese dialect and somehow she makes it easy and I feel less overwhelmed. As a language learner and tutor myself, I think Alice is one of the best teachers I know.

Alice comes prepared for every lesson. She has material ready to share for each class. She will help revise and reinforce previous learnings and is eager to help her students!
