Josué ⭐

I've been looking for a while for Spanish classes that fit my life but that are also fun and motivating. I'm so happy to have found Josué. The class was super interesting, really fun and I left feeling so motivated. Speaking Spanish has always been the hardest bit of studying for me but I felt super comfortable waffling and making mistakes with Josué. Can't wait for my next class!

Another amazing conversation! Our time together really flies by! I enjoy being able to talk about a chosen topic as well as having the ability to digress to other interesting topics. The conversation flow is natural and Josué creates an atmosphere that allows me to feel comfortable making errors in vocabulary and grammar. This is so much more effective than doing grammar exercises or sitting in a classroom listening to a lecture in Spanish. I recommend anyone who wants to get serious about learning Spanish to leave your "editor's hat" off and just try to speak with whatever words and grammar you already know without fear of making mistakes. Josué is the perfect guide to help you gain that confidence which will allow you to improve your Spanish in a fun and natural way.

I wasn't expecting to talk about football today but somehow we ventured into it thanks to my SCP tshirt. I had not been much exposed to vocabulary from the sport despite it being my favourite but Josue dealt with it amazingly, helping out when needed but allowing me to describe things myself. We talked about Balon D'Or, PSG, Spain, and the World Cup. Really enjoyed this conversation!

I have been having italki lessons with Josué for several months and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is really patient has a great sense of humour and always tailors the conversation to themes you are interested in. He is excellent at providing you with authentic Spanish sayings and also often send you interesting links to articles, videos and podcasts in Spanish that reflect your interests. And best of all when I recently visited Spain I found that I was much more confident in conversing with locals after my lessons with Josué. A real gem of a teacher.

I always enjoy chatting with Josué. He's so good at directing the conversation and patient when I struggle with explaining things.

I haven’t practiced Spanish in a while, but it feels natural and comfortable to speak Spanish with Josué. He is able to keep striking up new conversations and has endless ideas, which make him an incredible teacher to practice speaking with!
