Certified English Teacher with more than 10 years of experience, and a background in Early Learning. I am a certified English teacher, I have my TEFL certificate. I also have a bachelors degree in elementary and early childhood education. I have 10 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language and over 10 years of experience teaching language skills to young learners. I am from the United States and I live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have also lived in Colorado, North Carolina and Missouri. I love traveling the world, and learning about other cultures. I spent one year abroad teaching English. As a professional educator I am an expert at recognizing the needs of my students and adapting my lessons to best fit their needs. I enjoy watching the progress my students make and see them get excited when they master their new skills. I am very resourceful and will do whatever I can to help you improve your English. I can teach grammar rules, correct pronunciation and answer any questions you might have. I am a seasoned educator with an array of experiences and I’m accustomed to adapting my lessons to help my students with the skills they are currently learning. I believe that reading, writing, speaking, and listening are all crucial parts of learning a language and I will incorporate these skills into each lesson and do whatever I can to help you in your progress.

I’ve had many lessons with Ashley now and they have all been wonderful. Wished I could continue, but work has gotten too busy. Ashley is a very kind, friendly, and patient teacher, I can only recommend her. She’s easy to understand, too, because she has a very neutral accent. If you want to learn “standard” (American) English, she’s a great choice!
