TEFL-Certified British English teacher | Conversational fluency for adults | 7+ years of experience Still can't speak English fluently? Most people study English at school but struggle to use it, or to understand native speakers. When you speak, you have to slowly build the sentences in your head while the conversation moves on, and the words don't come fast enough. I've been learning languages since I was eight: French, Chinese, Spanish, Persian, Portuguese. I know what it's like to study week after week and still feel stuck. I spent a long time working out how to fix it, and I want to share it with you. In my lessons, you do most of the talking. As you speak, I note the phrases that can be upgraded, and at the end we go through them together, so you learn to think and build sentences in English as a native speaker does. Everything goes into a shared spreadsheet, and I build you a flashcard deck so it sticks. I hold a TEFL and a Business English certification, taught two years in China, and have taught online for five years. I also spent over five years in project management and marketing in the nonprofit sector, so I know what English for work sounds like from the inside. The method suits any level! If your English is very limited I can still help, as long as you also speak French, Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese.
