Hi, I am Himani. I like to travel and meet new people. Cooking seems to be my newfound love. I'm a native Hindi and Sindhi speaker. I’d like to share an interesting experience... while I was learning English in high school, I used to go for English tuitions, and we were made to read the newspaper aloud turn by turn. And, when it was my turn, I was reading a paragraph and my level of hesitation was such, that I pronounced m-u-c-h as mooch. So... I just want to say that it is okay to be embarrassed sometimes when you’re learning a new language. I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to let everyone know that it is not okay to pressure yourself in the process of learning. It is a process and you shouldn’t try to quicken a process, rather stay patient and determined. I teach English and Hindi. I have designed English courses for learners at all levels, Business English Courses and courses for professionals from different industries like BPOs, Hospitality, and Banking. My lessons are comprehensive they comprise not only of the basics and grammar rules, but more of something you’re likely to encounter on a daily basis. For example, How to ask the price of something at a store, How to negotiate, How to wish someone on phone or in person, etc. I teach through articles, videos, audios, and presentations. My teaching style is informal and I like to do more revision exercises so the learner can retain the information better.
