About Me

Hello everyone, My name is Lucy and I teach Dutch here on iTalki. I've been an online Dutch-teacher for over 2 years now and I can really say I love my job! The connection with people from all over the world and being able to help people reaching their language-goals feels amazing! Dutch is my native language, then comes English and I also learned to speak Swedish from a young age. In school I learned to speak a bit of French, German and Spanish. At the moment I'm learning a new language my self, because I like to challenge myself everyday.

I'd love to teach people a new skill. In this case: DUTCH.. Having a conversational lesson in Dutch, a grammar-lesson or helping you to prepare an exam, it's all possible. I will prepare the lesson according to your needs. I am an easy-going person and I am very patient. Check out my availability or send me a message so we can set up a lesson-plan together. Conversational and informal, easy approachable. Up for many different topics and styles. Let me know what you would like to learn and we will find the best way to reach your goal. Tell me the topic of your preference or I can provide the topic for the lesson. If you just want to have an easy conversation without any preparation, everything is possible, just let me know what you prefer.

Ik zocht iemand met wie ik mijn spreekvaardigheid kon verbeteren. Ik heb dus met Lucy contact opgezocht op italki. Ze bleek vriendelijk, behulpzaam en enthousiast te zijn. Gedurende de 30 minuten proefles we hadden geen moeiten om aan conversatieonderwerpen te komen; toen ik niet wist waarover te praten wist Lucy me te leiden waar ik iets had te zegen. Hartelijk aanbevolen!
