I'm Josey from Japan! Live in Mexico and speak Japanese, English, Spanish and basic Portuguese.
I studied Law and Computer Science, also work as a Programmer.
My passion is to help students achieve their goals. Strengthen skills in speaking, listening and reading. I helped students with exams, checking HW, preparing for traveling and moving to Japan.
I like to exchange travel experiences! I traveled to 28 counties so far, I have plenty of stories to share!Me as a Teacher
I have taught Japanese in Peru, Colombia. Also taught English in a school in Mexico and Peru. Thanks to your support, I completed more than 7000 classes on italki.
I run an active and dynamic class where we can talk, and challenge a lot!

He explains grammar and reading in a really clear way, with great examples and materials that make everything easier to understand. Amazing teacher! Had a great first lesson. He's very good at finding the things you need to work on and making sure you understand everything. He has a very good understanding of grammar concepts that learners use and is able to adjust to your level very easily.

Estoy tomando clases de japonés con Josey Sekine sensei y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Es un profesor que habla español como nativo, lo cual me ha ayudado muchísimo para aclarar dudas complicadas y entender mejor las estructuras del japonés.
Tiene muchísima paciencia, explica todo con calma, y es muy respetuoso en su trato. Me siento cómodo cometiendo errores en clase porque él siempre me impulsa a seguir intentando y aprendiendo, sin presión.
Además, adapta las clases a mi ritmo, se enfoca en los temas que más necesito reforzar y siempre tiene una actitud positiva. Gracias a él he avanzado más de lo que imaginé en poco tiempo y me siento motivado a seguir aprendiendo japonés.
Lo recomiendo totalmente a cualquier persona que quiera aprender japonés desde cero o que quiera mejorar su nivel, especialmente si hablas español!
