Every class is full of useful vocabulary and cultural insight. Sherri is always well prepared and makes you feel comfortable practicing new things. I used to be so scared to speak Chinese because I was embarrassed to make mistakes, but over time she’s really helped me overcome those fears, reorient my learning mindset, and gain confidence as a student. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

We made a plan for my Chinese studies and I'm excited to continue learning with her help.

Very well structured lesson, teacher helped kids to describe their daily activities in Chinese, then taught them some new words and practiced conversations using those new words. The class ended with some fun games using Chinese. Kids learned and had fun at the same time!

We started right away with practical conversation skills, including how to introduce myself in Mandarin. She is very patient, encouraging, and easy to talk with. I felt comfortable practicing with her and look forward to more lessons!
