Welcome to my page, my name's Richard! :) I'm a native English speaker from the United Kingdom. I have a 2:1 (BA hons) degree in Creative & Media Writing from Middlesex University, 220 hours of TEFL certification, and have been teaching English for over six years to students in UK secondary schools, academies, businesses, and online. I now live in France where I work for a private English school. There I teach students and professionals from all backgrounds and countries, and help them to reach fluency.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I'm fun, professional, reliable, adaptable, and have a rounded understanding of the English language. It's my goal to make you feel comfortable to learn English as you work towards fluency. At iTalki, I offer three different types of classes: 1. General English for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. 2. Free-conversation based around a specific subject or topic. 3. Reading and Writing practice.

My lessons & teaching style

All my lessons are fun, interactive, and structured. The professional teaching style that I work with is 'The Hybrid Style,' which incorporates my personality, preferences and interests into my teaching. It's also really important to me that, as my student, you feel comfortable to make mistakes with me as that is how you will learn :)
