I've really enjoyed my lessons with Basak. Her teaching style is really intuitive and she does a really good job breaking things down. She's also very kind, personable and patient which helps contribute to a fruitful learning environment. I would highly recommend her.

Başak is a fantastic teacher to my 7yr old daughter who is trilingual (English, Dutch and now Turkish). I am Turkish and it’s really impressive to see how well her diction as well as vocabulary have increased in such a short amount of time. She even creates sentences on her own now and it’s such a delight to observe. Başak is also a wonderful person to interact with and she’s just so good with my daughter. I highly recommend her to anyone, young and old trying to learn Turkish!

I'm very pleased to have contacted Başak for Turkish tuition. For B1 lessons we've generally used a very good textbook. Başak is creative in introducing new speaking exercises around this to really practice and improve her students' speaking skills, and she makes her lessons flexible if her student wants to focus on a particular area of Turkish. With grammar, Başak explains everything clearly, and she has allowed me to make sense of certain grammar points which would otherwise be quite difficult. With speaking practice, she always kindly gives corrections to improve her students' speaking, and shares suggestions for more natural ways of speaking and sentence structure. Importantly, Başak makes her virtual classroom a welcoming and relaxed environment. She is easy to get on with, she makes language learning fun, and with her, learning a language becomes so much less daunting. I thank Başak for her excellent teaching and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Turkish.

I’ve been learning Turkish with Başak for the last couple of weeks, and she has been such a wonderful teacher! She really takes the time to adapt to my learning style and is incredibly patient whenever I make a mistake. Even after just a few lessons, I can already see significant progress, and my Turkish has improved so much. I love how she tailors the lessons to my specific needs and always comes prepared with plenty of exercises and great materials. Beyond being a talented instructor, she is so kind and polite. Overall, I’d highly recommend her to anyone!
