Mile Neme

Mile is a very fun teacher, she is genuinely interested in the conversation and is very enjoyable to talk to. She asks great questions and there is never a lull in the conversation, which means that an hour flies by. Highly recommended.

Mile is hands down the best conversationalist on iTalki! She has a great sense of humor and is incredibly easy to understand, yet she knows exactly how to challenge you by introducing new vocabulary and a very authentic Colombian manner of speaking. ​What sets Mile apart is her incredible ability to keep the momentum going. We all have days as students where our abilities don't feel as strong as others; Mile is excellent at recognizing this and adapting the lesson to fit my energy and level that day. With some teachers, if you draw a blank or lack the vocabulary to continue, the conversation can stall. Mile, however, is a pro at spinning the conversation and bridging those gaps to keep things moving naturally. I have been taking regular lessons with Milena for about a year and a half, and I’ve continued with her because she is an excellent teacher. We always discuss interesting topics, the conversation flows naturally, and she consistently finds just the right word or expression I am looking for. My fluency has improved significantly since we started, and my active Spanish vocabulary has grown a great deal. Mile's class is like a perfect cup of coffee. warm, energizing, and honestly a little addictive. . Easily the best part of my day.
