My name is Victoria, I am 32 years old and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Although I was born and raised in Argentina, I lived during my adolescence in the south of Spain. This has given me the opportunity to get to know other variants of this rich and diverse language that is Spanish.
As well as being a Spanish teacher, I am an actress and a designer.
I like to get to know people, understand how they think and help them in their learning process.Me as a Teacher
Me gusta pensar que aprender debe ser divertido para que sea efectivo. Por otro lado, cada alumno representa un reto en particular y me gusta conocer a la persona con la que estoy trabajando para poder adaptar mis clases a su nivel, intereses y personalidad dentro de lo posible.
I like to think that learning should be fun in order to be effective. On the other hand, each student represents a particular challenge and I like to get to know the person I am working with so that I can adapt my classes to their level, interests and personality as much as possible.My lessons & teaching style
Durante los últimos 3 años he estado dando clases de español para extranjeros de forma presencial, y he podido comprobar que no solo es importante enseñar gramática y sintaxis, sino también que los alumnos se acerquen al idioma conociendo a la cultura que representa. Por eso en mis clases utilizo canciones, fragmentos de películas y debatimos sobre temas sociales y culturales del momento.
For the last 3 years I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language, and I learnt that it is not only important to teach grammar and syntax, but also to provide an approach to the culture that the language represents. That's why in my classes I use songs, film clips and we discuss current events.My teaching material

It happens that Vicky and I have 8 hours of difference, and my classes are usually around my evenings, when I comeback home from work. And everytime after the class with Vicky I feel so cosy, energized, and uplifted, as if I had just gathered with a dear friend for some tea and hugs. Even if I had a hard day at work. Even if I didn't have time to do my homework. Those are the moments I will cherish. Gracias!

The progress I have made with Vicky has been amazing. From virtually not having the confidence to speak one word of Spanish, to sometimes going the full class keeping the conversation going mostly in Spanish. Incredible! And from that it has given me the confidence to join group conversational classes. She is really encouraging and is probably more happy than me at the progress I have made, haha.
Vicky has pointed me in the direction of YouTube channels that I would find interesting, and also given me artists to listen to based on the music I like.
I have taken a lot of classes with Vicky and every one of them has been based around interesting topics.
