Stop studying Spanish. Start speaking it. You've probably studied Spanish for years. Textbooks, apps, grammar drills. And yet, when it's time to actually speak, you freeze. I get it. I've seen it hundreds of times. That's exactly why I teach the way I do. My name is Christian, and I'm a Spanish teacher from Bucaramanga, Colombia, with almost 7 years of experience helping students from all over the world go from "I understand, but I can't speak" to "I just had a full conversation, and it felt natural." My classes are not about filling your head with more rules. They're about getting you to talk. From day one. About your life, your work, your opinions, your goals. We'll fix the grammar along the way, but speaking always comes first. I'm patient, I correct gently, and I create a space where making mistakes is not just okay — it's how you learn. Whether you're a beginner or you've been stuck at intermediate for years, my job is to get you moving. If you're tired of studying and ready to actually speak, book a trial lesson. Let's talk.

Through many lessons with Christian the past 2-3 years we have improved my Spanish conversational skills immeasurably. I especially appreciate his relaxed style, encyclopedic knowledge of Spanish grammar, and diligence in (politely) correcting my errors. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Español- Este increíble tutor me ha ayudado a alcanzar un nivel de conversación en solo seis meses. Cuando comenzamos las clases, solo sabía algunas frases cortas. Actualmente, puedo mantener una conversación sobre muchos temas diferentes. Ha evaluado mis áreas débiles y trabajamos en ellas en la clase. Los conceptos que parecían imposibles, ahora son muy fáciles. Especialmente el subjuntivo 🤣. Muchas gracias! English- This incredible tutor has helped me achieve a conversational level in only six months. When we began classes, I only knew a few word and some short phrases. Currently, I am able to maintain a conversation about many different things. He assessed my weaknesses and we worked on them in the class. Concepts that seemed impossible for me to learn are now very easy. Thank you! You are the best!

My first impressions were that this guy will be fun to work with. He speaks slow enough that I'm able to understand most of what he says and that's one of the skills I want to improve

What an amazing tutor. Very engaging and he truly helps you when you have mistakes, all mistakes are addressed. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to practice speaking great Spanish, not just okay Spanish.

Lessons with Christian are a little different than other teachers in a very good way, he does a lot of listening comprehension, and when either of us come upon a word that we don’t know or a phrase he goes over it and explains how it works in Latin America, even in certain countries talks about the cultural differences. He uses stories to give examples and he asks questions that relate to the subject that he has introduced, and he remembers things that we’ve talked about before and reviews them. At the end of the lesson, my favorite part, he goes over the grammar mistakes that I made.
