Native English speaker from Canada. My video is out of date and I'm working on updating it! Sorry for the confusion. I’m Alyse, a native English Canadian speaker. Currently, I've completed my Bachelor of English degree, which has deepened my love for language and communication. My dream is to become a professional ESL teacher and explore the world, sharing my passion for English with learners from all walks of life. I worked two years as an IELTS test coordinator and gained valuable insights into exam preparation. I love helping students build confidence for both tests and everyday conversations. My teaching experience spans learners from A1 to C2 levels, with a special focus on Chinese and Slovak students. I started teaching A1-2 English speakers who were migrating to Canada about 5 years ago. I loved and enjoyed each day teaching them. From there, I started teaching online classes one-on-one. I currently work for a company that teaches primarily Slovak students, but I also have experience teaching Chinese students as well. Because of my experience as a test coordinator at IELTS, I understand and know how the test formation works and am able to help prepare students who want to challenge the IELTS exams. All my classes are spoken in English. I can teach all levels of English speakers and match your learning style. I use different texts or worksheets depending on what your needs are. I focus on communication, speaking, reading and writing for business, casual conversations, and for IELTS prep exams.
