If I had to describe my teaching style, I'd call it the three Fs: Fun, Firm and Fair. Fun because I bring lots of enthusiasm into my lessons! I enjoy getting to know my students and tailoring lessons around their interests, helping them feel relaxed, confident and excited to learn. Firm because I'm committed to helping my students improve. I'll gently correct mistakes, keep lessons focused and encourage good learning habits so you can make real progress. Fair because I understand that learning a new language can be challenging. I'm patient, supportive and always happy to explain things in different ways until they make sense. I mainly teach beginner to intermediate learners and use a variety of engaging resources, including slides, videos, props and worksheets, to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I studied Creative Writing at the University of Winchester, and I love reading, writing, drawing, playing the ukulele and exploring nature with my dog, Barleigh.
