My name is Gabriel, and I like discussing and learning about a variety of topics, like astronomy or history, for example.
I took the TOEFL iBT twice, getting 111 points out of 120 in the last one.
I like language and how other people perceive it.
Also, I live in Chile and I would love to meet other people from other cultures.Me as a Teacher
Teaching people and helping them improve is my call in life. Learning must be done in collaboration among teachers and students, so if I don't know the answer to something, I'll do research on it so that everyone learns something new at the end of the day.
I believe that constant correction (while talking) is helpful to improve as long as it happens in a safe environment. So, if my students don't want to be corrected in that manner, it'll be okay. I'm here to provide a safe haven for learning.
Whatever your goal is, I'll accompany you and explore the language and its aspect as deeply as you are willing to go.

Gabriel is an incredibly generous, thoughtful, and funny tutor, and I give him my highest recommendation. We especially connected because we are both fiction writers, but I imagine that he is able to help and support any kind of person with their language goals. For me, I was looking to improve my understanding of Chilean Spanish in advance of a work conference, and to practice speaking with my colleagues. Gabriel did a great job identifying vocabulary and topics that would be useful to me, as well as answering the specific vocabulary and usage questions I would usually bring to our sessions. Don’t hesitate to book a class with Gabriel!

Gabriel is a very good instructor and is great at explaining concepts to me in a way I understand! And if I don’t understand immediately, he’ll find another way to explain! Ask him about his writing, he’s very creative !

Gabriel was my teacher for 2 years.
He helped me to go through the TOEFL,
and, when I successfully passed it,
we continued to work together.
He always adjusted to my needs
(if I had troubles with grammar, we did grammar;
if I had troubles with speaking, we did it as much as possible, and so on).
In addition, I appreciate punctuality in others,
so I was glad to see him constantly in time.
Gabriel has done a great job, and I am very grateful!
