About Me

Hello everyone! I'm Astrid. I'm 19 years old and I live in Lima, Peru. I'm a Spanish native speaker. I was born in Cusco City and I developed my communicational and linguistic skills in that multicultural environment. Currently, I'm studying Translation and Interpretation at university. I love music, dancing and discovering new things.

Me as a Teacher

I consider myself as a culture lover. I enjoy talking to other people and listening to them because I find it interesting and it is the best way to learn new things. Spanish is a beautiful languaje and I've got some experience producing different types of texts in contests and speeches since a very young age. I took international exams to validate my English and French level, so I'm able to explain any lesson or doubt in any of these languages in order to make them clearer.

My lessons & teaching style

As a current student, I know learning is a fascinating process, especially in an active way. That's why I like teaching with conversations about your favorite topics. In addition, we will eventually use some charts and graphs for you to achieve a good use of grammar. To widen your vocabulary, we will read some articles about different topics and analyze songs lyrics. You can ask me anything about my culture, as well. You can make it! Attitude and confidence is all you need.
