I love to listen and I love to laugh. I believe the most important thing for my students is to be given the opportunity to practice speaking without the fear of making mistakes. I am very careful not to overcorrect, yet I provide enough feedback to help my students reach their goals of improvement.My lessons & teaching style
I have been offering tailor-made classes for more than 20 years now. I never make a plan before I meet with my students. After our initial meeting, I make a plan which can be a simple outline or a very detailed syllabus depending on the student's learning style. Regardless of the plan, I am always prepared to adjust it depending on the student's needs. I have a large bank of resources which I can easily access, so if I see a need during a lesson, I just address the issue on the spot. Although I have my own bank of materials, I prefer to use my student's own materials as much as possible. That is another reason why I don't use standardized lessons.My teaching material

I recommend this teacher. We are working on my preparation for the TOEFL test. It is a challenge to be prepared for TOEFL. It is not simply about knowing English but requires test strategy and tactics. Michelle is helping me with that. She has been doing a great job.
