I've had 20 lessons with Jhonnatan, and I've learned so much. Thanks to his instruction, I've gained much more confidence in speaking Spanish. He is patient, empathetic, flexible, and highly practical in his teaching. I especially appreciate that he provides well-structured lessons while remaining adaptable, tailoring each lesson to my questions, interests, and learning needs. A recent example illustrates this well. Before today's lesson, I shared a list of 50 common conversational Spanish expressions and asked if we could work through them together. Rather than simply following my list, Jhonnatan carefully evaluated it. He identified the expressions that were appropriate for my current level, suggested setting aside those that were too advanced for now, and added several others that he felt would be more useful. I really enjoy taking classes with Jhonnatan. He understands the interests of his students and creates a lesson based on those interests. If you want to learn something new, he will teach you something. If you want to have a discussion and work on speaking, he will help you with that. He is also very easy to talk to.
