I have been having lessons with Camila for several months now and feel like I have made great progress with my Spanish. I wasn’t confident speaking before but Camila’s patience made me feel more confortable. One of the other teachers I tried on this platform blocked me after only one lesson so I almost stopped using italkie after that, but glad I ended up finding Camila. She is great to build conversational skills, correcting grammar along the way, while having interesting conversations. She speaks clearly and slowly and I am able to understand a lot.

Camila has a pleasant tutoring style. She always has a slight smile on her face, and I don't know how she keeps from getting impatient, but she does. She lets you talk, and corrects you gently when you make mistakes. One feels like an idiot trying to speak a new language, but Camila somehow is able to make you more comfortable. I highly recommend her.
