such a fun lesson! really enjoying the variety of topics we've been discussing. as always, marlene is extremely kind and patient, and does an excellent job of explaining meanings and grammar.

Marlene is such a lovely person. We laugh a lot during the lesson and time flies. We continued with household activities, prepositions and articles. I learned a lot, but never had the impression to "be at school", but rather to sit with a friend in a café. Thank you for this focused but relaxed learning style.

I feel so lucky that I picked Marlene for my first italki experience. She explains things well, and I always feel comfortable asking for clarification for anything I’m not clear on. Marlene is an excellent teacher. She is always encouraging and always knows how to keep our conversation going. I ticked "no" for where is says if the teacher gives a plan for the next lesson, only because our lessons are always spontaneous. We go from one topic to another, so its just chatting with a friend. Highly recommend Marlene.
