Layza is clearly an experienced teacher who can quickly assess the needs of clase and adjusts the approach accordingly. Having a currently limited abilty to speak speak spanish, Layza made the effort to include english dialogue when needed but didn't allow the speaking of english to dominate the session. She was very receptive to the progess I've made in learning so far as well as identifying where I am lacking. She couldn't have made me feel more comfortable which is extremely important to me as video conferencing makes me uncomfortable as does speaking with native spanish speakers. The lesson was structured but took on a natural flow that also allowed for everyday common dialogue to be practiced. I look forward to my future lessons with her. Thanks Layza!

Learning with Layza has been great. The first few lessons with her, were about developing my vocabulary, and trying to assimilate as many rules as I could, but this last lesson was more fun - we actually had a conversation about life. I got to use what I learned in a safe environment where it kind of felt immersive. I look forward to more lessons with Layza
