I feel so fortunate to have found Carolina. She is the best! Works with me at my level towards my goals. She uses really good materials that are very helpful. I am always happy to have had a lesson with Carolina. Siempre cinco Estrellas!

Outstanding. I chose Carolina because of how clearly she spoke in her video, making it easy for me to understand her. I also was impressed that she is a journalist. I could tell that she was a nice person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in our first lesson. I'm going begin regular lessons with her immediately.

Every lesson is productive. We are nearing the end of a series of 90 readings that will have taken 14 months by the time we finish. At the same time, my favorite classical guitarist from Spain recently earned her doctorate, and published her dissertation as a book for the lay public. I ordered it, it's 374 pages, and I have no doubt that I will have much more reading ability and confidence by the time I finish it. My teacher supports this and will doubtless help me with it. By my choice of words here, it is clear I am looking to the future. Carolina has been with me every step of the way for almost 4-1/2 years now. She consistently finds ways to teach me about Spanish and Latin American culture and natural history while I learn the language, which I now claim as my own language. Thank you doesn't begin to say it, but thank you for everything so far, Carolina.

I often say similar things about my lessons with Carolina, because they're consistently true. She works me hard. I feel like my brain is getting a workout. We pick difficult material and it's slow going, but I'm learning steadily. I'm learning about the legal system in Colombia and the standards of evidence, and I'm not involved in police or legal work--these are simply topics that have caught my interest in looking at other aspects of Colombian social life. Wherever you are in your studies of Spanish, Carolina can take you higher, at whatever pace you're ready for.

Siempre, siempre, cada sesión, Carolina es excelente. Las lecturas y preguntas ahora forman parte de una conversación. Escribí un poema en español esta mañana y lo leí para ella; lo le gustó que es difícil: ella es periodista y generalmente la poesía no es su forma favorita de literatura. Ella asegura que cada lección tiene mucho valor.
