Dr. Merve Sahin

I was very nervous at first, but Dr. Merve was very friendly. And even though my understanding was slow, she never rushed me and waited patiently. She gave a very enjoyable and effective lesson. I am very motivated to learn German after the lesson. She is definitely the best teacher.

Dr. Merve Sahin is absolutely wonderful to learn from. She was very patient with me and super cheerful. I took German in college but that was over 20 years ago. I remember some words but not very many. Dr. Merve started speaking in German slowly for me and translated the English into German so I could understand what she was saying. This put me at ease and I was able to better listen and catch more of the German words. I do hope to get better with time and am very pleased with my decision to take a class from her.

Dr. Merve Sahin is such a fantastic teacher! We always have interesting conversations. Since we're both studying medicine, she has even helped me with some of my homework! After experiencing her positive attitude, intelligence, and teaching skills, I have no doubt that she will be successful in whatever she does. I'm looking forward to booking another hour very soon. Thanks again, Dr. Sahin! :)

Dr. Sahin was great for my first lesson, for the first time in trying to learn German I felt like I was really learning how to have a conversation in German.

This was my first time using Italki and to be frank I couldn’t have had a better experience! Dr. Merve was very professional and ensured I had a great first lesson. I loved how she kept me engaged throughout the lesson, was very patient with me, and encouraged me to pursue my goals. I definitely recommend choosing Dr. Merve as she’s a wonderful teacher with lots of beneficial knowledge to share.
